• LANGUAGE : Just learn English, in the Hogwarts School everybody can speak english. But you should learn some spells (if you're a WIZARD not a MUGGLE )


• HEALTH : Don't worry.. if you're sick, you should ask your potions teacher to make you a potion, so your sickness is gone. Beware, sometimes the potions don't work well.
  
• VISAS : You don't need to use a visa to enter Hogwarts School, you should take the "Hogwarts Express". The train starts from "King's Cross Railway" Station platform 9¾.


• SECURITY : Hogwarts School is so safe, so you don't need to worry about the security. The Hogwarts School also has a caretaker named Argus Filch.


• LOCAL CUSTOMS : You shouldn't go to the Forbidden Forest, you shouldn't break the rules in Hogwarts . The school is so strict.


• LUGGAGE : Pack anything you will need in Hogwarts School, because you shouldn't go out of Hogwarts School, so you can't buy anything.


• TRAVEL INFORMATION : You should read the rules in Hogwarts School, because if you don't read the rules, you won't know the rules.
  

ENJOY YOUR TRIP TO HOGWARTS SCHOOL !! (but I think you'll never go to Hogwarts School.. just go to your own school.. LOL)

Travel Tips to Akator

Have you ever heard that name? The conquistadors called it El Dorado (I think you must be had heard it), a legend city of gold. Read these tips before you go there.

1. Its location is behind a big waterfall. You ought to wear quick-dry clothes.


2. You should bring a gun or an arrow because there are mysterious people who live behind the waterfall and they are very dangerous.
   
3. The cave to Akator is dark. If I were you, I'd bring some matches and a candle or a LED light.
   
4. You ought to be able to swim. A journey to Akator and from Akator uses water to lift you up and to save you when you're falling down. The water is deep.


5. You should save your energy. You need strength to hit a big rock with a stone to enter the city of Akator.


6. You have to bring a Crystal Skull. It's the key to open the door to Akator.


7. You shouldn't take the gold and jewelries. They belong to their owners - the Crystal Aliens (the Crystal Skull is an alien's skull), unless you want to be sent to a space between spaces because you're very greedy.


8. You don't need a visa but you should be able to speak Mayan with the aliens - it's their language.


9. If the aliens would like to give you something, you shouldn't ever ask for a present of acknowledge because it makes you look too greedy, unless you want to be an alien because humans are not yet ready for aliens' knowledge (and you'd be sent to the sapce between spaces, you know).
   
   A bonus: Do you still want to know why it is called a legend city of gold if you can't have the gold? Gold is a word translated from an Ugha word, meaning treasure. But the aliens' treasure is not the gold (sorry to disappoint you). It's the knowledge.

Travel tips to Mineral Village

Mineral Village is a very beautiful village, which is unpoluted and also very clean. Eventhough there aren't many electronic devices to entertain you, the view here is fantastic. It's not bad to explore the land, because you will certainly enjoy it.

1.Language
You don't have to learn their language, because they can also speak English, and because of that you'll be able to chat with them in English

2.Visas and Passports
You also don't have to bring your passport and your visa, because 'Mineral' here is a village, which doesn't have any immigration laws.

3.Clothing and clothes
You should wear very polite clothes, because the normal villagers do so, and none of them wear non-polite clothes like tank-top and some others. Don't ever try to wear any unpolite clothes, if you don't want be an outcast or forced to leave the village.

For the clothes, you don't have to bring many, but don't forget to bring a swimsuit (the polite one which is like a jacket with trouser), because there is a very beautiful beach .The air here is cool, and it almost never rains. You won't get wet.

4.Money
You shouldn't be carrying a lot of money. In this village, there are almost no shops / markets. There are still some shops, but the price of the things in the shop are very cheap. Besides that, the people there are very kind. They'll give you what you need, but if they don't, they will just tell you where to get / buy it. Maybe bringing lot of money will make you forget to take it back, or make you regret it because you won't use it much.

5.Security
In this village the people are very kind and religious. They won't steal / break your stuffs, your belongings and your money.

6.Luggage
You shouldn't bring too many things to avoid misplacing them. Just don't forget to bring acamera / handycam and binoculars, because the view here is fantastic. Also don't expect your phone to be able to send text messages or make a phone a call, because there is no phone signal there.

Tips For Your Gotham City's Travel

Language:

There will be no problem to comunicate with the people from that town if you can speak English quite well. If you can't speak English, you'd better learn the basics of English language or you can buy an English dictionary to make it easier to you to communicate with the people in that town.

Health:
You have to check your condition first before going to that city, because that city is extremely cold. You better have some vaccinations to avoid the diseases in that city, And you need to buy some medicine too.

Security:
Don't carry too much jewellery and cash in this town because you may lose them. There are many robbers in this town, and many great criminals too like Joker and Two-Faces. And don't try to rob anything in this city because you will get beaten by the Batman or get caught by the police. It's better if you can do some martial arts techniques.

Local Costumes:
There aren't special local costumes at this place. You can wear anything you want but you should wear a jacket or you will get cold.

Visas:
Of course you need visas to enter this country, if you don't have visas and try to go into this city you will get caught by the police.

Luggage:
In this city you will never know what will happen latter, so you musn't carry too much luggage. Try not to carry too many things that you will never use.

Travel Information:
You have to bring a map of this city or you will get lost, because this is a big city. If you are lost you have to go to the near police station and ask them to help you. if you aren't do it you will probably get robbed.

Mid Intermediate 2 Stories

Last week, my Mid-2 students wrote stories of different genres in groups. They managed to create three very entertaining pieces. If you like them, don't forget to leave comments.

• And finally, we have an exciting action piece about a secret agent (very 007-like) by Andreas and Avicenna

Keep Dreaming

One day, Dolly and Kelly went to the dream land. They decided to go to their favorite cartoon land, such as Lilo and Stitch also Pocoyo. They were very happy to go there. Especially Kelly.

When they arrived there, Dolly told Kelly not to disturb her. After that, Dolly met Stitch at Lilo’s house. She also met Nanni, Lilo’s big sister and asked her to give her autograph to Dolly. Then they were playing together when suddenly Alvin, Theodore, and Simon came. Dolly was so excited and very happy.

In another place, Kelly met Pocoyo at the Chocolate Park while she bought chocolate at Rudy Tabuti’s Shop. She fell in love first sight with Pocoyo. But, she realized that Pocoyo was just a little baby. “Love is blind”, she thought.

“Hi !” Pocoyo said.

”Eeerrrr . .hi !” Kelly replied. “I have just bought some chocolate, do you want some?” asked Kelly.

“No, thanks. I hate chocolate, I don’t have enough teeth.”

“Oh.. I see.. I’m very excited to meet you.”

They were chit-chatting for an hour.

Meanwhile, Dolly , Alvin and the chipmunks, also Nanni took a walk for a whole evening. When they were walking, they met Kelly and Pocoyo. Dolly introduced Kelly to her new friends.
Since that time, they became BFFs. But, a hurricane attacked them. Apparently, it was their alarm clock.

“Oh my God, it’s just a dream,” Kelly shouted. And it was the most beautiful dream ever.

The Cambridge Mystery

I put my rucksack down while my friend continued his journey.

“Don!” I called to him, “Please stop for a minute! I’m tired.”

He shook his head, which meant that he wouldn’t let me take a rest for a while. We were best friends and I knew what he liked when we climbed the mountains: to reach the top as fast as he could. Age difference wasn’t a matter in friendship, was it? I was seventeen and he was twenty-two.

“Phil!” Don’s voice broke my thoughts. “Why are you resting? Can’t you see that we almost reach the top?”

I groaned lazily and began to put my rucksack. It was not a long vacation, so I asked him why he wanted to go climbing. He didn’t answer until we reached the top.

“Sorry I’ve been keeping it from you these times: I’m trying to solve the mystery of the murder of Grace Brown.”

It made me a bit angry because I didn’t like mysteries.

My friend took a map out of his rucksack, also a notebook and a pen.

“Wait here when I search for Barbara Pitt. Or, do you want to come along?”

I told him that I wanted to come along.

We arrived in a big house. Unfortunately, it was a bit dirty. A butler opened the gate for us.

“Good morning. I’m looking for Mrs. Pitt. She promised to meet me here,” my friend said.

The butler didn’t say anything but he let us in. We sat in a living room and an old maid came with two cups of black coffee. “Your drinks, gentlemen!”

“Thank you.” I thought she was impolite.

Not too long after, I saw Mrs. Pitt walking towards us. Don tried to be polite to her, but this woman was really annoying.

“Is this your friend, Mr. McCartney?” she asked.

Don pulled me to sit next to him. “Yes, madam. This is Mr. Starkey.”

“How do you do?” I asked Mrs. Pitt.

She didn’t answer. “Let’s begin the interview,” she said impolitely to my friend.

During their interview, I stayed quiet. I tried very hard not to get angry listening to her puffed up answers. She always looked at us just as she would a bug. Finally, it was over. We walked away.

The Secret Agent

In Indonesia, there was a skillful secret agent, named Donald Oberman. But he was called Mr. DO. He and his crew had a secret mission, which was to catch an international terrorist organization leader. Mr. DO had to defeat the leader to demoralize the members. The leader’s name was Jocko Lie.

Lie was on his vacation in Bali, and in Nusa Dua, Lie wasn’t accompanied by his men so he was alone, and he would be easily caught. The secret agents knew Lie’s location, using the GPS. After that, the agents decided to make a plan, which was to chase Lie. The plan was to surround the Nusa Dua. But, first he had to tell the tourists there to leave the Nusa Dua, so he would be alone. If this plan worked, he would be caught.

To apply this plan, Mr. DO told his crews, to move silently to the Nusa Dua Bali. And then, they arrived at Nusa Dua and then Mr. DO made the hotel receptionist to tell the tourist to leave the hotel, one by one. It should be one by one, so Lie wouldn’t know the agents’ plan.

But, unfortunately, Lie also went out from the hotel like the tourists did, but he made his appearance just like a normal western person. Lie knew the plan, because a tourist told him, “Why aren’t you leaving? Almost everybody has been told to leave, because the receptionist said that there were some terrorists inside the hotel.”

When he went out from the hotel, he tried to get into a taxi, and escape. Luckily, when that happened, Mr. DO was patrolling around the hotels. Mr. DO saw Lie.. Mr. DO thought for a moment, and knew that the man he found was Jocko Lie. And then he shot the taxi’s wheel, to prevent Lie’s escape. But, Lie didn’t give up, and he ran away. Mr. DO shot his leg, and easily caught him. The tourists were told to get back to their room and enjoy Nusa Dua Beach.
